Which VE version can be used with Eclipse 2.x and 3.x? [message #38277] Thu, 20 May 2004 18:41 Go to next message

Hello All

Currently I'm working with Eclipse 2.1.3 and I would like to use the VE.

According to the VE project website the prerequisites

for 'VE Build: 0.5.0' are
Eclipse build 2.1.2
EMF build 1.1.1
GEF Build 2.1.2

and for 'VE Build: 1.0M1' they are
Eclipse build eclipse-SDK-3.0M8
EMF build I200403250631
GEF Build I20040330

Now my questions are the following:
* Is 'VE Build: 0.5.0' the last version for Eclipse 2.x?
* Will the final version of 'VE Build: 1.0' only work for Eclipse 3.x?
* Where can I find these information on the VE project website?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,
Tomi

VE 0.5.0 is for 2.1.x. We haven't tested it on 2.1.3 but it should work.

VE 1.0.0 will only be for 3.0.0
