I'm creating a fairly large report that is currently in Excel and the
end user has it printing onto say 5 pages for sake of discussion. Each
"page" is actually a worksheet with the page set to fit to 1x1 page.

Because of the dynamic nature of data and layouts in BIRT, there is no
easy way that I can find to set up a "fit to single page" for everything
on a single master page for output to PDF. Has anyone found a way to
implement this? Before I go digging into the API to implement a method
of rendering the output differently, I thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

Hi,

i have similar problem. I need to create report with one grid at top of
the page, and one at the end of page. Between this grids can be any
content layed on single, or multiple pages. This content could be in third
"central" grid. Last grid should be always aligned to the end of the page,
so i created masterpages's footer and inserted the last grid into it. But
now i need to "stretch" the middle grid to entire page to fill empty
region. Is this possible? Or is there other way to accomplish this?

Thanks,

G
