Support for Stored Procedures in limited in release 1.0 of BIRT. You can
create a JDBC Select data set and type in a stored procedure call as the
query text. However, output parameters are not supported. Only a single
result set from a stored procedure call is accessible in BIRT reports.
BIRT can access any JDBC data source. You do need to supply your own JDBC
driver for the database. See the BIRT Download & Install instructions page
on how to set up JDBC drivers. At the time being we do not supply a list
of BIRT certified database platforms. If you have problem connecting to a
particular database, please feel free to file a Bugzilla report.
