How to: make every thing black background white foreground [message #33520] Sun, 13 March 2005 04:21 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
I want to view every area of the workbench in black backgorund white
foreground.

I configured the text editor that way and it works great. However other
parts such as 'Outline', 'Console', 'Navigator' are still white
background. I looked at every option under Windows-> preferences but I
could not find any clue. There are even configuration options for the tab
titles (like I care !) but not for what I am loking for.

I also digged gnome/Gtk properties but failed to find any clues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to install a white-on-black GNOME/GTK+ theme to change
these colours. See http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/ and scan around
for some examples of dark themes.

Thanks for the reply. After some more fiddling around that's what I
figured too. Unfortunately KDE and Gnome do not play well in my Mandrake
9.1 system. I am using a KDE desktop and changing GTK themes have
unpredictable consequences. I wish Eclipse provided more coloring options.
