Hi,
I worked, unitl now, with the January 5th 2006 version of ATL. I see you
have changed the version and I donwload it (the February 17th 2007
version).
When I use this later version and the examples which are proposed, I have
got several problems. When I execute Families2Persons' example, the
transformation functions. But when I want to see the result of the
transformation (opening of "sample-Persons.ecore"), there is an error.
However, if I open this file with a simple text editor, I can see that the
file "sample-Persons.ecore" is correct (I think).
In the same example (Families2Persons), the same error appearswhen I
would like to open the file "sample-Families.ecore". An error message
appears if I try to open this file. But when I open it with a simple text
editor, I haven't this problem. I can read and note that it seems correct.
I hope you can help me.
Thank you for your answer.

Hi Stéphanie,
You can not open M1-models (M2 is metametamodel level, and M3
metametamodel) with the Ecore reflective editor if its metamodel is not
registered by EMF. We have a workaround for this in the AM3 plugin. With
this plugin, you can do a right-click on a metamodel (in your case
Persons.ecore and Families.ecore) and select "Register metamodel". This
will add every metamodel's EPackages in the EMF registry. This registry
is used to bind models and their metamodels with EPackages' nsURI. Then,
you will be able to open your M1-models with the Ecore Reflective Editor.
Best regards,
Mikael

Hi stephanie !!
You have to redownload your metamodel after the execution of the
transformtion by using "register metamodel" (right mouse click")
Try that and normally you will could open your model
