"Alt + Key" not working on Solaris [message #333304] Wed, 03 December 2008 14:02 Go to next message

Hello,

We have an application use eclipse 3.3, and we use lots key bindings,
e.g, "Alt+F" will open "File" pulldown menu, and "Alt+W" will open
"Window" pulldown menu. This seems work fine in Windows platform, but
on Solaris, those "Alt+Key" doesn't work.

This may because I am remote connect to a Solaris host, but is there any
way I can make those "Alt+Key" work in this situation? or is there any
alt key mapping I don't know?

Thanks for any hint or help!

Alt+key is not a key binding but mnemonic mechanism. If it's not working
then that's a bug in your OS.
