michael, thanks,
you're right that the information was not updated,
but it doesnt help.
....changed it, tried to start again... same error
then I tried to update my other 3.4.0 - its not RCP, its Modeling
update runs without errors, restarted workbench,
then many problems:
editor area empty, clicking on something was very slow,
couldn't quit using menu - had to kill eclipse
after restart same error as from my rcp - eclipse
thanks to TimeMachine I went back to the version before
there seems to be problems with my installations wether rcp
or modeling - auto-updateing to 3.4.1
all other updates since 3.4.0 comes out were never problematic
and using a plain 3.4.0 rcp or modeling and auto-updating also
did the job
think best is to make a clean install
