This behavior can be seen in the Eclipse IDE. If you have a few
different Console Views open, then use the "Open Console" dropdown
action to select "Java Stack Trace Console", all of the Console Views
will switch to showing the newly created Java Stack Trace Console.

Is there a way to programmatically allocate/create a new console without
changing every existing Console view?
