| Genymede error while using emacs scheme [message #330276] | Thu, 24 July 2008 07:05 | |
| Eclipse User | | | | | Hi,
may be not the right place for this post, but I did not find any better:

I use the emacs key scheme for Java development, and I am having problems
with shortcuts since I switched from Europe to Ganymede.

 Couple examples:
 - Shift+Ctrl+F should format the text, but an 'F' appears instead at the
 cursor position, then disappears.
 - Shift+Ctrl+C should comment/uncomment the selected text, but instead it
 deletes the selected text.

If I play around in the Preferences/General/Keys, sometimes the problems
 vanish.

So the test sequence should be: set the SDK to use the emacs scheme,
restart the application, and then try the shortcuts mentioned above in a
 Java source editor.

 My environment:
 Eclipse SDK
 Version: 3.4.0
 Build id: I20080617-2000
 OS:
 CentOS 4.6
 kernel: 2.6.9-55.0.6.EL
 Hardware:
 Dell Latitude D610

 Regards,
 Marton
