3.4 updating of manual plugins [message #329720]

correctly put new updates into their correct external location

with 3.4, the update process ignored my custom locations and threw
everything into the eclipse plugins and features folders.

this doesnt work anymore with P2 :-(

you can go back to classic UpdateManager

or

try to find a way with the new possibilities

Although it is different from what we're used to, p2 is a lot more
capable. I think if you take the time to educate yourself about how it
works, you'll find a way to accomplish your goals:
