since at least 3.4 M4 I have noticed some problems with opened editors
starting to vanish while leaving the stack where it was thinking that it
is still somewhat there: the ctabfolder still is painted (at least the
editor title), the X icon is gone (implying that it cannot be closed
again), the editor does not show up in the last of currently opened
ones. pretty unfortunate a couple weeks from release. this happens on
both Mac and windows. I noticed that if you try to move an editor from
one quadrant (I have a 30' monitor and 4 editor stacks opened within the
editor area) to another, and accidentally drop the editor on the border
(rather than on the ctab folder title area), then sometimes the target
quadrant stops working properly (the display stops updating and it is
impossible to activate a different editor in that quadrant)... only
solution is to quit... which is never pleasant considering on a Mac
eclipse is still not capable of retaining an accurate list of what was
open in which quadrant.. quite annoying, but I make do with it.
cheers,

Reporting this here won't help. You should file a bug report with
detailed steps to reproduce.
