Validating files when pasting into Package Explorer [message #322314]

Hi all, I'm trying to do some simple file validation when a user pastes
files into Package Explorer (valid file names & extensions, etc..). I've
tried using ModelProvider & its validateChange method, which only
partially works. It works when copying & pasting a file from one project
to another. However, if I were to copy a file from my Desktop and paste it
into a project in Package Explorer, validateChange is not invoked. Does
anybody have any suggestions as to where I can perform my validations?
