It's also known as tag-completion. In eclipse I'm less sure, but it
normally cycles through the open buffers offering completions at your
cursor.

One difference is it is not looking at java structure, just text
splitting of words.

And it works in any text editor (Edit > Word Completion [Alt+/]).
