Hierarchy in Perspective selection dialog [message #316792]

Currently the perspective selection is a flat list. But if I want to
display like this in the perspective selection dialog, is it possible in
eclipse?
MyCategory |
|-------ABC Perspective
|
|-------XYZ Perspective

I tried adding a category for Perspective within the plugin XML file and
it threw a warning that it is illegal.

If the exsd-Definition for an ExtensionPoint-Element does mention it
won't be recognized by eclipse this would be real magic ;-)

It's like you would send an ASCII-Text-Editor and Image and assume it
can render it appropiately ;-)

As far as I can remember perspectives are not meant do be groupable but
I could be wrong though. You can log a feature request or better first
search if any already exists and what's its state.
