Hi,
I am in the midst of writing a validation framework for our custom project.
This validation mechansim is called either when eclipse is running via
project build or in a batch environment outside eclipse.
The validation mechanism basically performs semantic validation on the
models and reflects the validations in the form of markers. I wish to
somehow use the marker aspect outside eclipse when running as a batch
program.
So, my question to the group is whether it is possible to add markers to
eclipse resources from a batch program outside eclipse?
I would sincerely appreciate any help in this regard.
Regards,
Prashanto

This is the right forum, but there is no way to do it. You can only
create markers via the API available on the org.eclipse.core.resources
plugin.
