Hi,
I have read elsewhere
( http://www.eclipsezone.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=9203 7131) that it
is possible to create unique editor areas for each perspective by closing
an editor area and opening a new one when perspectives are switched (i.e.
only having one open at a time), effectively creating unique editor areas
for each perspective.

Is this actually possible? If so, how is it done?

Many thanks,
Peter

There's nothing in eclipse that would make this possible (i.e. there's
no way to do this using public API).

That thread implied that he wrote some classes that could do it.
