Hallo,

I am currently in need of creating a metamodel for the below enclosed
diagram. My previous post on "Link Mapping - Single Connector for all
Figures" was with this diagram'S reference.

Let me explain the ecore i have enclosed.

1. MessageContainer - Contains the Header and MessageData of each
individual message.
2. A Header - Can have any number of MessageData types(no repitions)
3. Aggregator - An ideal class that when connected to the above
messagecontainer should validate to true if the MEssageContainer on right
contains a single Header with the MessageDatas that are same in count when
compared to the number of MessageDatas on Left.

Can you show some direction in creating the link between classes and the
possible use of constraints for this diagram's validation. I need this
link to be a one-size-fit- all :)

Constraints :
1. Data's on left should be a Set
2. Data'S on left should be equal to that of data's on Right

Hello Madanagopal,

I think, Aggregator could be represented as a link mapping in this situation
and you can add OCL constraints to this mapping. You should create “Link
Constraint” element below this link mapping, “TargetEndConstraint” below
“Link Constraint” and write this constraint in OCL language (something like:
“self.messageDatas->size() = oppositeEnd.messageDatas->size() …”)
