Hi there!
I have just started to learn how to program in C ( I am reading "The C
programming language" by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie). And along
the way I am using Eclipse with CDT (3.0.1 and 2.1 respectively). When I
am running a program I made I can't generate an EOF. I know I can do this
by going to the Windows terminal, for example, and running the program
from there by doing Ctrl+z or Ctrl+D. But it is much more convenient to do
this without leaving Eclipse UI
I read the user's manual and tried to search the net for answers, but I
hadn't any luck. The closest I have found was a user in the Eclipse
newsgroups that had a similar problem, but his doubt was for the JDT part
of Eclipse. I think the answer he got doesn't apply to CDT.
Please elucidate me
Thanks in advance and be patient to this newbie in the world of
programming :)

Support for EOF has been added in 3.1. It does not exist in 2.1 or 3.0.
If you need that support please try 3.1 M5a.
