Hi,
I'm not able to view help when I click on the Help --> Help Contents menu.
However, the other help menu items open up when clicked. This happens only
in Unix.
Any idea how to overcome this?

No, sorry, I'm running nearly into the same trouble like you. When I attempt
to open "Help contents" or e.g. attempt to open the "Workbanch basics" in
the Overview page while running a freshly, successfully installed Eclipse
3.0.1 SDK, absolutely nothing happens, that is, no help screen
appears. :-((
This occured while running Eclipse 3.0.1 under SuSE Linux 9.0 pro. Running
Eclipse 3.0.1 SDK under Windows XP (incl. SP2), all works fine.
Seems, that under my Linux installation there are more restrictive settings
to display html/jsp pages?!?!?.
