I suspect the issue is that the .jar is being committed as ASCII first, then once it's uploaded (and corrupted) the type is changed to binary. However, the corruption is happening on the initial upload, not the download.

Check that the team types for CVS indicates that Jar files will be treated as binary first. Alternatively, touch the .jar and re-upload it to get a new version.

What version of CVS and Eclipse are you using?

The versions are equal than mine. ItŽs the same situation. IŽve in Eclipse
that jar files are binary.

When I compromise the project Eclipse recognize that files as binary.
