Plain text differencer using org.eclipse.compare [message #283610] Thu, 07 April 2005 01:46
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

Has anyone used the org.eclipse.compare plug-in to perform a simple text
diff?

I found out that I should use the
org.eclipse.compare.rangedifferencer.RangeDifferencer to perform the
text diff. It's just that I can't figure out how to construct a
CompareEditorInput subclass that provides the right output in
prepareInput().

I there someone who did (successfully) deal with this issue before?

Regards,
Robert
