Hiding views in show view dialog [message #282332] Wed, 09 March 2005 07:32 Go to next message

Hi,

I have some views which I don't want to be listed in Show View dialog.
(I want to open them only from code) If I don't specify any category
for those views, they are in 'Others'. Is it posibble to create some
'invisible' category? Or is there any other possibility to get rid of
those views from Show View dialog?

Thanx.
M.

No, however in 3.1 APIs have been introduced to allow people to recreate
their own show view dialog, see IWorkbench.getViewRegistry().
