I have installed jdk-1_5_0_01-nb-4_0-bin-win.exe and then
eclipse-platform-SDK-3.1M4-win32.zip. But when I run Eclipse, there does
not apear to be the JDT installed. For example, when I open a new project
with wizard I only get the choice of CVS or Simple project.
I downloaded eclipse-JDT-SDK-3.1M4.zip and intalled this, however all the
files it created where already there and Eclipse functioed just the same.

Appreciate any advice.

Download Eclipse SDK (which bundles the Platform and JDT SDK) and
install it into a fresh location.
