running existing project in eclipse [message #267754] Thu, 15 January 2009 19:29 Go to next message

Hi,
I am trying to run an existing project on eclipse. so far when I run it
as an applet, it opens applet window but nothing gets drawn. It runs fine
from command line. html file has javascript to draw components on the page
and on selection of these components(checkboxes), an applet is invoked. I
am a beginner in applet and Eclipse. Can anyone tell me, What I am
supposed to do or set? I tried searching for answer before I posted this
msg.

Please help. Thank you. Jeba

Sounds like you already have your answer.

If your applet requires javascript to have something drawn within it,
then you need to run it in a browser (or some other javascript + java
container).
