With 25 participants, the WTP workshop in Grenoble was a great success!
We are now looking forward board approval of project creation, if everything
goes right, the web site should go live on July 15th.
Main events of the meeting:
- Modification of the project charter to include 3 committees helping the
PMC in the architecture, requirements and planning tasks.
- Candidature of Bjorn Freeman-Benson to act as project lead
- Project site with ftp-repository of initial contributions launch scheduled
on July 15th
- Architecture committee started to work on an architecture paper of the
whole project. Target date for first draft is July 15th.
- Target date for M1 set to be September 15th, next milestones every
8-weeks.
Detailled notes of the meeting will be posted shortly.
Note: Group picture of participants is attached ;-)
Thanks,
Christophe

I'd like to personally thank Christophe and Dominique for hosting this
meeting, and Bjorn for his continued guidance through the new Eclipse
project creation process.
I really enjoyed meeting the other participants and am very optimistic
about the success of the project. We have a great team of contributors
and now have a shared vision of the project.
The INRIA Rhone-Alp facility was an excellent setting for the meeting.
The Alps were stunning. And the food in Grenoble was great. This was one
of the most productive and enjoyable technical meetings that I have ever
attended.
