I use cascaded parameters that are connected to certain datasets. During
the selection of the parameters, information from a database is
retrieved (I think this happens BEFORE the generation phase). I tried to
store this information in the reportContext
(reportContext.setPersistentGlobalVariable), but I couldn't access it in
datasets that are used to retrieve data (from the database ) for tables,
charts etc.
Is the reportContext only available during the generation phase? How can
I pass information that belongs to a certain report parameter (more than
just display name and value) to the generation phase?
