I prefer light colors on a dark background. I've setted most colors to the
ones I prefer. There is just one color left that is need to be changed. If
a point the cursor on a variable, the background color of all occurences
of this variable changes. I wish to change this color. Unfortunatly I
can't find the location of this setting. Can anyone tell me the location?

Preferences > General > Editors > Text Editors > Annotations. You're
looking for the Occurrences and Write Occurrences items in that list.

Hope this helps,
Eric
