File state [message #261055] Wed, 08 July 2009 08:06
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

We develop a plugin for clearcase.

This problem occurs only when I open the file and starts to write in it
when it is not associated (with clearcase plugin) and I get a question:
"Do you wish to make the
file readable" and then I press No.

When I associate the file with our clearcase plugin and try to edit it ( I
usually get a Do you want to checkout the file? )the validateEdit() is not
called.

Any ideas why?

Does Eclipse set the file in a special state when I reply No? What state
is that?

br,
