Mozilla browser in windows [message #258507] Mon, 05 July 2004 16:18 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm new to this group and to the swt package. Does anyone know if it's
possible to somehow get a version of the swt package that supports a
Mozilla browser in Windows?

Thanks,
Ryan

I am also very interested in this issue. My company is looking to
create an Eclipse plugin for our product and it is a bit more trouble to
try to support HTML and other complex code that needs to run in both
Mozilla and IE to support Linux and Windows.

On a related note, is there the equivilant of the IE plugin on Windows
that will run Mozilla on several platforms? I am interested in creating
my plug-in's user interface exclusively in XUL and perhaps Flash
plugins, as this will save a lot of time versus hand coding in Java, and
should make our interfaces more portable long term. This doesn't seem
easy yet, however.

For those interested, this was answered in the cross post to the
eclipse.platform.swt group.
