Source lookup path is not saved for debugging [message #257788] Fri, 12 December 2008 15:00
Eclipse UserFriend
We have 2 development machines experiencing the same issue: not
saving/remembering a source lookup path. In Eclipse, there are 2 java
projects. Java (atually Tomcat) Project A depends on Java Project B
(configured project A's Java Build Path / Project tab).

Setting a break point in B causes 'source not found' to appear along with
an Edit Source Lookup Path... button. When I add project B, the source
appears and debugging works as expected.

When I stop debugging and relaunch Tomcat and reach the same breakpoint, I
have to use the Edit Source Lookup Path... button again.

How can I save the source lookup path? I've tried adding the path in the
launch configuration, but that doesn't work either.

Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1
Build id: M20071023-1652
Sysdeo Tomcat plugin v3.2.1
Windows XP SP3
