CVS: getting the list of directories [message #254675] Tue, 22 June 2004 10:56 Go to next message

I have a question about the CVS. How do you get the list of directories
available on the CVS server using pserver? As I understand it, this is not
possible with the standard CVS command line interface.

Thanks,
Curt

We do this by faking a local sandbox at the repository root and running
a "cvs -n update". It can be done using the command line in the same way
(i.e. setup a shared folder whose CVS/Repository file contains a dot (.).
