Eclipse M9 plugin classnotfoundexception when using external jar [message #252525] Mon, 14 June 2004 18:26

I have an Eclipse plug-in that utilizes a separately built .jar file. The
plug-in has the correct classpath to compile with the .jar (when the .jar
is missing, there are the obvious compiler errors). In previous versions
of Eclipse, running the plug-in via the launch in workspace feature worked.

However, in M9, when my plug-in creates a class found in the .jar I get
the ClassNotFoundException, with the class name. Is there some run-time
path that I'm missing here, that's different in M9? Am I missed anything
else?

Thanks,
Macneil
