After a jar file is created, how to configure the project to copy it to
another directory?
I use elipse 3.3.2 on windows.
My layout is that one directory is for compilation, another directory is
for distribution.

write a small ant file for yoiur build process. u can compile and use ant's
copy task to copy it to your distribution folder.
