Dear NG,

I want to develop my own application with eclipse.
To which license does this application apply on?

Everything i found on eclipse legal depends on changes and development on
eclipse source code, not on developed application using eclipse.

Heinz,

If you copy and modify EPL code then the result of that action must also
be EPL and you must make that source code publicly available. If you
write your own code, whether it uses or calls EPL code is irrelevant; it
can have whatever license you choose. Many commercial vendors build on
top of Eclipse and have their own proprietary license for the plugins
they've developed.
