Shaik,

What type of exceptions are you trying to handle? Could you provide a bit
more context for your request?

hi scott,

i want to handle the exceptions and to print the custom message for the
user
for example am connecting to database by using a jndi name and i want to
check before running or executing the report for connection is available
or not if connection is not available or connection is inactive then i
want to display a custom message to the user

As of now if database is down or any of the parameters not set properly
then while running the report it wont show any exceptions it will keep try
or after some time it wil display as empty.

so to avoid this i want to handle the exceptions,

thanks
