I used eclipse 3.3.1.1 on windows 2000.
Sometimes when I tried to create a project, the project cannot be created.
How to find out the reason?
However, something with the same name as the project was created in the
workspace directory. Do I just delete that?
Otherwise, how to clean up the workspace directory?

The project fail to create because of
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError.
I am trying to use debugger_tutorial_archive.zip from
http://eclipsetutorial.sourceforge.net/debugger.html

Hi Powah. What version of Java do you have installed? Mark

Hi Powah. A simple thing to try would be to just delete the entire
workspace directory and then start Eclipse. It will ask you for the
directory and allow you to create the workspace at that time. That way
you will know you are starting with a clean directory.

If you have something in the workspace you want to keep, then just
create a second directory that is empty and try it there. HTH. Mark
