Hi Folks,
anyone tried this tutorial on Eclipse 3.3? All good up to key bindings,
which I can't get to work.

http://www.vogella.de/articles/RichClientPlatform/article.ht ml#N101E1

I'm running on Mac OS X Tiger with Europa 3.3.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I ask the man himself & he said it
should work OK. I've tried three times though with no luck!

Curiously, the XML source editor says some of the relevant tags have
deprecated.

Pretty weird given the XML is generated by the wizard & I only downloaded
it yesterday!...

Severity and Description Path Resource Location Creation Time Id
Attribute 'commandId' is deprecated TestKeybinding plugin.xml line

Attribute 'keyConfigurationId' is
deprecated TestKeybinding plugin.xml line 59 1201537865579 256
Attribute 'keySequence' is deprecated TestKeybinding plugin.xml line

Element 'keyBinding' is deprecated TestKeybinding plugin.xml line

Hi Folks just to say for anyone else who tries this, it works!

I went through the tutorial again and it works fine. That's using Europa
on Mac OS X. The deprecated warnings don't seem to matter.

Probably the problem is before I cheated by copying one of the other
projects then modifying it to save time. I didn't realise that of course
the project XML files are project specific and you can't just copy the
project like that and expect it to work.

Anyway pretty cool to see it working with the key bindings...

Cheers,
Max
