Problem in compiling C file using eclipse [message #245357] Sat, 12 January 2008 09:04 Go to next message

Hi,

I recently installed Eclipse CDT on my Windows Vista. And I have Cygwin
installed as well.

When I try to create a new project, and then create a new C source file.
When I try to build the project, it is fine. However, when I run the
project which is in binary, an error message shown.

It said "testproject.exe" has stopped working. A problem caused the
program to stop working correctly.

I have been seeing this error all the time. Can anyone help. I am helpless
to solve this problem.

Appreciate alot. THanks.

-Jason

You'll probably get better response in the eclipse.tools.cdt newsgroup

This is likely caused by a bug in your application - I very much doubt that it
is a problem in Eclipse, CDT or Cygwin. Have you tried debugging the application
to see where it crashes?
