Change font size shortcut? [message #240993] Mon, 19 November 2007 17:50 Go to previous message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I often find a need to change font size of code to fit my screen. Right
now, I go into perferences-> Colors and Fonts->Text Font->Change and change
the font size by increasing or decreasing it by one.

Is there any way to "map" that functionality to a shortcut, such that I
would be able to press shift-ctrl-alt-UpArrow (for example) to increase font
size by 1, and shift-ctrl-alt-DownArrow (for example) to decrease by 1 size?

I've looked a the key mappings, and the closest I can find is mapping a key
to open the Colors and Fonts window, but it is a nuissance to have to click
and enter stuff there manually all the time.

I am still much a novice with Eclipse, so I don't know if macros could help
(does eclipse even support macros?), or if there is another way I can do
something like this.

If I am asking this in the wrong list, please let me know which group I
should be sending this to.

Thanks!

Eric
