Bullet in <LI> not rendering on Linux PDF [message #231157] Thu, 29 March 2007 11:27 Go to next message

I have a text item using HTML formatting. When I generate the report in
PDF in eclipse or in my web application on Windows, the bullets on the
unordered list items appear fine. However, when I generate the report on
my web application on Linux, the bullets appear as question marks. As an
FYI, I also had problems with apostrophes appearing as question marks.
However, changing the apostrophes to &#39; solved that problem. There are
no other font problems on Linux.

Thanks,
Jennifer

I am not certain but this sounds like a font is missing on the Linux box.

Any idea what font is used to generate the bullet in the unordered list?

When you have this issue on Linux is it in HTML and PDF?
What browser are you using to show the report?
