well - I did not find a piece of software to draw the class diagrams - does
anyone know a good way to reverse engineer my code to produce the class
diagrams in eclipse

You could try the community edition of Poseidon http://www.gentleware.com/ .
I am not sure it has a reverse engineering function. I know the full
version of Poseidon does. They also probably have a student deal.

Thanks, for anyone who is interested I downloaded Slim Modelling
Environment, Visual Paradigm and Omondo product. I found Omondo to be the
easiest to use with good features ( I couldnt get VP to reverse engineer my
plugin).
