I have setup BIRT to create reports against a MSSQLserver 7.0 using the
opta2000.jar. The DataSource is correctly setup and test connection is
successful. When I enter the SQL and press finish in DataSet I get the
following exception:

I also copied the jar to
C:\birt-rcp-report-designer-2_1_0\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.r eport.viewer_2.1.0.N20060628-1351

any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Driver should be in this directory only if you are just using it in the
designer and previewing the report.
