Hello everyone,

That's my envrioment:

SuSE 9.2 on AMD 64

java-1_4_2-sun-1.4.2.06-1.1
eclipse-jdt-3.0-5.1
eclipse-platform-3.0-5.1
eclipse-source-3.0-5.1
eclipse-scripts-3.0-5.1
eclipse-pde-3.0-5.1
eclipse-gtk2-3.0-5.1
eclipse-3.0-5.1

All packages are SuSE standard. My Eclipse won't run - after splash screen
it gives my message box with log. Log is avaiable here:

http://bajtek.ankom.net/~shufla/1107178235738.log

What could be the problem? Eclipse install from Eclipse site, not SuSE
powered do not run either.

Thanks in advance,
Lukasz Nowak

Lukasz,

Are you running 64 bit linux? If so, are you using Sun's 64 bit linux
JRE? (most likely not, because I believe that they've only released a
Java 1.5 version) And finally, are you running the 64 bit version of
Eclipse?

You are right. Right now I'm using official Java 1.5-64 & Eclipse-GTK2-64 -
all runs fine.

I'm just shocked, that packages from SuSE do not work anymore (it has been
working few days ago on same machine! - maybe some updates damaged it).

Thank you for your help,
Lukasz
