Automatic import of projects [message #209754] |

Is there a way to easily import a large number of existing projects into a
new Eclipse installation (assume they're on local disk, not CVS). As far
as I can tell, you can only import a single project at a time thru the
"Import" menu, but this is very cumbersome for many projects.
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,
See this news item: news://news.eclipse.org:119/buccgt$991$1@eclipse.org
( http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.platform/msg12 775.html).
It describes a plugin I have made for this purpose (since I also find it
_VERY_ tedious... :-)
Due to the increasing number of requests on this newsgroup, I think I
will soon make an official release of the plugin... real soon now...
Best regards,
Jesper
