Hi all,

I have implemented a textual language using the RCP and one of the features
I provided was folding.

I am now working on a number of graphical editors using the GEF and I have
been asked if I could provide folding here also.
It will only make sense with certain types of editors, or more specifically
with certain types of layouts.

But my question is can it be done with GEF at the moment ?
If not is there a plan to do this ?

Thanks in advance.

It would say it depends on what you want to fold. Do you want to fold a
figure containing other figures or do you want to fold (hide) complete
areas in the viewer?

The first one can be already implemented in your application. The latter
one requires some work in lower layers. This should be submitted as a
feature request.
