Why does eclipse have linux motif and gtk2 build separately? [message #20527]

Currently Eclipse provides linux motif and linux gtk2 build, I can easily
to make one build to incude others, why does it need to build its
separately? It is much nicer for user to loaded one build(including motif
and gtk2), and user can decide which ws to use during start up time. Any
reason behind?
