Birt Home [message #205102] Wed, 06 December 2006 11:32 Go to next message

My webapp directory is outside the normal tomcat directory. The server.xml
has been modified for the new location and other web apps seem to be working
fine. However, Birt cannot find the viewer images and some other things.
Do I need to create an environmental variable for Birt_home to resolve this
problem?? I wouldn't think that would be necessary but something needs to
change. I wouldn't think that I need to set the web.xml in Birt since all
the sub folders are still in the same relative path.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using the BIRT 2.1.1 Web Viewer, it looks for a platform
directory below WEB-INF. This is not configurable without a change to the
Viewer code.
If you are building your own app this can be changed.
