Hi, simply run your tool, then navigate on the menu bar

File > Initialize finitestatemachine_diagram diagram file

This will open a dialogue window in which you select your file
(test.finitestatemachine), then it will convert and open this file as a
diagram file, save this and there ya go ;)

Hi,

thanks for this help. I also needed this. But where can I change the
label? At the moment it shows me initialize test_diagram diagram file. Do
I have to change this in the gmfgen file?

Hi, you could try editing the label in th *.diagram plugin.xml
to do this navigate

*.diagram > plugin.xml > Extentions > org.eclipse.ui.actionSets >
Initialize *_diagram diagram file

then simply change the value of the Label

Thanks for your help. but i found it under org.eclipse.ui.popupMenus ->
...diagram.InitDiagram (..)

But thanks for the hint with the plugin-xml
