same filename for model and diagram [message #202287] Mon, 18 August 2008 14:09 Go to next message

In the creation wizard, the filename (before extension) for the diagram
is passed on as the filename (before extension) of the model, only if I
click "Next".

However, if I click "Finish" prematurely, immediately after I enter the
name of the diagram, the name of the model is "default", which is not
what I want.

How do I ensure that either:
a) Users are not allowed to choose "Finish" at the diagram naming stage
or
b) When users click "Finish" prematurely, the name of the diagram is
passed on and used as the name of the model

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to do it via GMF though? Like
the gmfgen file?
I don't like it when I have to resort to @generated NOTs
