OK, I give up. How do you start the sample app?
I believe I have installed the latest GEF into the latest eclipse. The
readme file I see in the same project tells me to look for the readme.html
in org.eclipse.gef.examples.logicdesigner tells me there is a consolidated
readme in plugins/org.eclipse.gef\readme.html.
However, there are two problems here:
1 - I used the eclipse import wizard to import the GEF plugin. (I did
specify it was a plugin). However, I find the GEF files in my workspace
directory not the plugin directory.
2 - When I search for the readme.html in the under
workspace/org.eclipse.gef, it is nowhere to be found.
So I guess I'm reporting a bug or two in the setup and also asking for the
simple answer of how do I start the sample app.
thanks, Jon

You should probably try to get GEF to work in the normal way before you try
to import it in to a workspace. Plugin development is tricky.
Unzip the download into the Eclipse 2.0.x directory (the one containing the
EXE, I believe). Launch Eclipse. Bring up the new wizard, and select
Examples->GEF->Logic example, and press Next. That should work.
When you try to load the plugin into your workspace, make sure you don't get
any .log messages at startup, and that the runtime Eclipse has recognized
the various GEF plugins.
